?Sep 2016-Feb 2023 - Teaching Fellow, University of Edinburgh. MSc in Biodiversity, Wildlife and Ecosystem Health.
?Sep 2014-May 2017- Postdoctoral Researcher, Íæż½ã½ã.
?Sep 2010-Aug 2014: PhD Candidate, Íæż½ã½ã.
?Summer 2010: Botanist/Field Surveyor, University of Aberdeen.
As a global change ecologist, I have expertise in how global change drivers including climate change, pests and disease drive changes in ecosystems, especially forests.
My research interests are broad and interdisciplinary and current interests include:
?Applying functional trait approaches to better understand species and community responses to environmental change. ?Using ecosystem resilience theory to understand response to extreme events. ?The application of new modelling approaches and data integration/synthesis to study ecosystem responses and functions across varying spatial and temporal scales. ?Understanding the potential and limitations of forests as nature-based solutions. ?Research syntheses and meta-analyses.
