In the latest ratings, the University has received an overall score of five stars.

Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gerry McCormac, said: 'We¡¯re pleased to retain our QS five-star rating, which reflects Íæż½ã½ã¡¯s status as an international university with a global reputation for high-quality teaching and research'.

Reputation
A QS rating assesses universities on how they perform in several key areas. A five-star university is typically world-class in a broad range of areas, enjoys a global reputation and boasts cutting-edge facilities and internationally renowned research and teaching staff.
As well as securing a five-star institutional rating, Íæż½ã½ã scored five stars in teaching; employability; internationalisation; facilities; and inclusiveness.
Meanwhile, in the QS World University Rankings ¡®by subject¡¯, Íæż½ã½ã was ranked for Sport, placing it in the 51-100 bracket. The University was also ranked in the 51-100 bracket for Nursing.
There were year-on-year ranking improvements in Philosophy (101-150th bracket); Agriculture (151-200th); Psychology (201-250th); and Economics (301-350th).
